This Norway hike runs through Jotunheimen National Park from south to west. The contrasts are many, like summits, glaciers, scree and rock to the green valleys with roaring waterfalls. In short, this is a trip that accommodates much.

One of the highlights will the stay at Fannaraaken, Norway’s highest DNT-lodge at 2068 meters above sea level.

The final day hike goes steeply down towards Turtagro with view of the Hurrungane´s jagged peaks.

This is the first article in the article series “In the Heart of Jotunheimen National Park”. We will write a day by day hike log with nice photos.

Hike Summary

  • 6 days hiking from cabin to cabin
